Our Partners Make it Possible.
While pursuing this vision we have had lots of help along the way … can you partner with us?
It all begins with an idea but finding like minded people to help expand the idea has been essential for Books 4 Bright Futures. We have been fortunate to find many individuals and organizations who have been eager to help, and we continue to search for more partnerships to grow our project.
Charleys Kids Foundation … our corporate partner supporting youth education efforts
Early in our journey towards building Books 4 Bright Futures we found encouragement as sponsorship from a local company that consistently demonstrates their commitment to charitable work in our world. Charleys Kids Foundation, the philanthropic foundation within this company, delivers grants to non-profit organizations that serve youth through education, mentorship, and food literacy in the United States and around the world. Books 4 Bright Futures was fortunate to have the opportunity to meet with the leaders of their organization and obtained a grant to assist with books shipments. This financial assistance was instrumental in helping us get our project underway and expand our ability to serve more schools with more books.
Public Libraries … summer book sales and new relationships
What an amazing response we received from our local public libraries who offered to help in so many ways. As libraries renovated their collections, or removed duplicative titles, they offered us the chance to find these books a new home. We registered as Friends of the Library in many communities and received notices about book sales and events where free books would be offered to the public. Attending summer book sales on the right day resulted in finding many children’s books in excellent condition, and being there again on the last day of the event often ended up with offers to take many books for free. We made new friendships with local librarians and their related community outreach groups, and found that they were as excited about our cause as we were.
